Our first kiss was a dare at a Valentine's Day party. With that stolen kiss, our friendship sparked into more. I lost that dare on purpose. And it was worth every bit of trouble that followed.

5 years later we got married at a courthouse in Papillion, Nebraska. Through good times and bad, sickness and health, joy and sorrow, those vows spoken in front of a judge, have held tight. 42 years later the world is always brighter when Mark’s around.
