“Because of the pandemic I was released for a period of time from the “House Calls” program. I was then deployed to the military call line for employment. Working from home, my work “day” began at 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM. This actually worked well for my family as my husband worked the opposite hours, so our children always had a parent. My job, on the military call line, was to receive calls from all over the world and help identify whether the person’s health problems could be managed from home or whether they needed to go to a hospital for care. This lasted from March to June. Then I was able to return to my entering homes for the “House Calls” program…with modifications that met Covid-19 safety guidelines.”
