On July 1st we welcome our new pastor Dave Yim and family. Due to quarantine rules we prepared our church for social distancing. As we had formed a Healthy team working with the worship committee it was decided to try outdoor service as to our district office. So with all plans in action we put up a canopy for pastor and Vivian our musician. A PA system was used to broadcast to our car radios loud and clear. We greeted our members in the driveway with water, bulletins, packaged communion. Our parking attendant directed them or chairs set up 6 ft apt. Masks are mandatory except if members stayed in cars. To our amazement 75 people and 2 dogs showed up for a 30 service!!!!! We were so excited as our normal count was 20 to 30 pre covid. Anyway it was decided to continue outdoor services until winter forces us in.
